    • REGISTRY_TRUST — sourced from Registry Trust (County Court Judgments and other debt registry records).
    • GRAND — Grand-derived or Grand-curated; catch-all for non-authoritative sources including court filings, news/press, and manual overrides.

    Type: string enum

    The kind of early-warning signal. These are credible, pre-threshold indicators; they never by themselves change the company's trading status. One of:

    • FILING_TRAJECTORY — short-term deterioration in statutory filing position (filings due within 30 days).
    • OVERDUE_FILINGS — statutory filing obligations are overdue but not yet determining trading status.
    • COURT_CASE_FILED — fallback for an unrecognised court notice that does not match a known category.
    • NEW_CCJ — a new County Court Judgment has been registered against the company.
    • RESOLVED_CCJ — a previously registered CCJ has been settled or satisfied.
    • WINDING_UP_PETITION_FILED — a creditor (often HMRC) has applied to compulsorily liquidate the company.
    • APPOINTMENT_OF_ADMINISTRATOR — an administration filing has been made at court, or the appointment has been confirmed in the Gazette.
    • APPOINTMENT_OF_RECEIVER — a secured lender is enforcing a charge over company assets via a receiver.
    • PROPERTY_CHARGE_ENFORCEMENT — assets have been seized or realised to repay secured debt.
    • FAILURE_TO_FILE_ACCOUNTS — escalated statutory non-compliance beyond routine overdue filings (Gazette notice).
    • OFFICER_UBO_CHANGE — a change to a registered officer or person with significant control.
    • ENTITY_TYPE_CHANGE — a change to the registered legal entity type at Companies House.
    • BUSINESS_DETAILS_CHANGE — a change to the registered business name, address, or other core details.
    • SIC_CODE_CHANGE — a change to one or more registered SIC codes.
    • FILING_SCHEDULE_CHANGED — a change to the statutory filing schedule or accounting reference date.
    • MATERIAL_NEWS_EVENT — credible reporting or announcements indicating a potentially material company event.
